Guesstimate goods produced by society. From annual production figures create currency, the annual distro, distribution. Each citizen works twenty hour week quota, to get distro. With technology, automation, robots, and all citizens working twenty hours, productivity quite high. Distro quite generous. With quota, you don't have to work too hard. Work at a pace of your own choosing. Sacking is rare, would have to do something really bad. If you complain that you work twice as hard as John, but get same money, they say o.k. you slow down to same pace as John. They try it and then say oh I can't work that slow, I get really bored. So John works at his pace, and you work at your pace, such is life. If john was born lazy, if he has that genetics, so be it, it's not a problem, just relax.
Gene pool creates workaholics, hobbyists, strivers, ambitious. These citizens work above quota. They work Escula, esculation, to earn currency called incento.
Advantages of a distro society.
No resentments of lazy people.
Less fear of robots and technology taking over human jobs. It is welcomed.
With all citizens working quota, prroducing goods anyway, Chinese imports face barriers.
Governement has some leverage, slide control, over amounts of
Quality of life issues,
Levels of competition.
Piracy not such an issue, government pays inventors, creative people, insento.
Re innovation, governement can create money to back wild crazy inventions, long shots.
If it fails it is bad, but not a tenth as bad as in a capitalist society. In a distro society, innovation can sometimes rocket. Citizens have more time to think, to tinker, to be hobbyists. Bosses, employers, supervisors, under less stress, don't stiffle innovation, pressing citizens to slave away at day jobs, boosts innovation.
